Apartment Update.

Ok .. so i decided to update with the decorations and such of the apartment. The last pics were pretty plain. so we hung pics and such now!!

Shawn is FAMOUS!

Shawn is Famous. He had his 30 seconds of fame today after an incident at the university of Utah. OK well maybe not 30 seconds, ( more like 2) but he is still pretty pumped. He was interviewed about a gas leak which overtook campus today. Here is the video.


In other new exciting news, well nothing really exciting. But an update, Sara's schedule changed to 10 - 5, so she enjoys the nights off now. She feels like things actually get done. She also started a pretty sweet craft project with our new bar. ( pics to come) So she has been keeping herself busy with that sort of thing. Shawn is trucking along with classes. He still hates Chemistry, but he will get through it eventually. He cant wait for summer break!

Ha ha ha

On sunday we went over to the Champions lil apartment, for some food, fun, and friends. But in the midst of our evening, we were introduced to a website that will determine what our kids would look like. We tried to do it there but we couldnt because the site was busy, however we tried later at home and here are what we got.

So first we somehow ended up with a baby with a different ethinticity. so here is our lil black baby. lol

Warm Weather and NO SNOW!!

Things are looking up in Utah. Temps in the 50's to near 60. Rain not snow. We are enjoying this a lot more. Sara is working up a storm at Kinkos while Shawn is getting his butt kicked by Calculus and Chemistry but enjoying Fed Ex. For Vday we got Guitar Hero 3 and now our nights are shared with that and 24. What quality time we spend together. Saturday night we went down to Provo and Sara was able to see friends from WV and Shawn met up with a mission companion. We are missing the east coast dearly and wanting to see family again. But life keeps moving on and we are having a blast in our 7th month married. Time is definatly flying by!

Happy Valentines

Happy Valentines day! We had a fun day. We work alot on the beginning of weekends. We both worked Friday night, and Saturday morning. But when Sara came home form work Friday night at midnight she found lovely presents from her wonderous hubbby..

In stead of braving the crazy amounts of resteraunt people we decided to eat our pizza in!
Now.. what we have been doing for the long time its been since we updated...

Yes that is right we are obsessed with 24! We watch it constantly. We just finished today season 5, and we started season 1 in Mid December. So if you havent watched it yet. Dont unless u have lots of time to be addicted. We just bought Season 6 at circuit city on sale. So we are set, but we watch constantly. Now we are now on the mad search for rock band for wiiii.. We looked forever last night at about 4 stores. But we are determined to find it.

About our Trip

So its been awhile since we have updated so we will do it in a few phases. The trip back east to WV was great. The flights wern't that grand but overall it was worth it. Nothing like spending a week back home. We were able to see pretty much everyone we wanted and even had time for a little bday party for Sara at her Mom's house which went really well. Everything turned out fine. As you can see by the post under this one Christmas was very fun for us at Shawn's parents. They didn't seem to enjoy the prank as much though haha. We enjoyed the rain while we were there as well.

The most stressful part about the trip may have been the very end. After sitting in the Pittsburgh airport for awhile waiting for our plane we boarded and everyone was ready for take off, but after the pilot turned the engines on, they were turned off and the pilot said we would have possibly a delay because of equipment problems. We found ourselves starting to break a sweat mainly because our layover in Cinci was 55 minutes. We were stuck sitting on the plane and finally left the runway right about an hour after we were supposed to. We landed a few minutes early in Cinci, ran through a few concourses and all the way down to our gate (which was at the VERY end) and got to the gate after the closed the doors. Luckily they were a little behind refueling so they let us on and later we got home on time. So thats our stressful story.

We definatly wish more than anything we were back there though. It made us realize how much we really miss being home and being around family and friends. Here are a few Christmas pictures from when we were back home.

Best Prank Ever

So upon arriving home we had our own Christmas night with Shawn's family and decided to pull a small prank on them. We had them all open a 'present' from us at the same time. They opened the wrapping paper to find a fake 1 month ultrasound that Sara had so brilliantly fixed up and put our name on to make it look very real.
